Terms of Use — Perceva

Welcome to Perceva. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Perceva application ("the app", "the service"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Perceva.

Perceva is operated by Artur Luthold, an individual, reachable at contact@perceva.app.

1. What Perceva is

Perceva is a personal development app that combines tracking of tasks, habits, and goals with progress mechanics (such as XP, coins, and streaks) and self-knowledge instruments, including a self-assessment and psychological instruments for personality and values.

Perceva's purpose is to support your self-knowledge and personal development. Perceva is not a health service, does not provide clinical diagnoses, and does not replace medical, psychological, or professional advice.

2. User account

To use Perceva, you must create an account with a valid email and a password. You are responsible for:

• Providing truthful information;
• Keeping your password confidential;
• All activity carried out under your account.

You must be of the legal age to consent to these Terms in your country, or have authorization from a legal guardian.

3. Premium subscription

Perceva offers both free and paid features ("Perceva Premium").

• Premium features are available through a paid subscription, billed via Google Play or the App Store, depending on the platform you use.
• Prices and plans are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through the relevant app store before the end of the current period.
• Subscription management, cancellation, and refunds follow Google Play and App Store policies. We recommend contacting those platforms directly for billing matters.

We may change prices and plan composition in the future. Changes do not affect periods already paid for.

4. Acceptable use

When using Perceva, you agree not to:

• Use the app for unlawful purposes;
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or restricted areas of the system;
• Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the service;
• Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the app in an unauthorized manner;
• Use the service in a way that overloads or harms the infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Content and ownership

• Your data is yours. The records you create (tasks, goals, responses) belong to you. How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.
• The app is ours. The software, the "Perceva" brand, the design, texts, and instruments provided are owned by the operator of Perceva or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights over that property beyond personal use of the app.

6. Self-knowledge instruments — important notice

The self-assessment and psychological instruments available in Perceva are intended solely for self-knowledge and personal development.

• Results are interpretations based on your own responses and do not constitute a diagnosis, clinical report, or clinical guidance.
• If you are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties, please seek a qualified professional.

7. Service availability

We strive to keep Perceva available and functional, but the service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Perceva shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the app. Perceva is a tool to support personal development, and the decisions you make based on it are your responsibility.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the app or requesting deletion at contact@perceva.app. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated within the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Where consumer protection law applies, the courts of the user's domicile shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.
