Support

Perceva support

Perceva is a mobile app for habits and self-knowledge. This page is where support lives: how to reach us, and answers to the questions we are asked most. If what you need is not here, write to us — a person reads every message.

How to reach us

Email is our only support channel. There is no phone line and no live chat, and we do not use an automated ticket system — replies come from the same address you write to.

contact@perceva.app

Write in English or Portuguese, whichever you prefer.

To make it likely that our first reply is the one that solves your problem, include:

  1. The email address registered to your account. It is how we locate your data. We never ask for your password.
  2. Your device and operating system version. For example: Pixel 7, Android 14.
  3. What you expected to happen, and what happened instead. A screenshot usually explains more than a paragraph.

We answer as soon as we reasonably can. Perceva is a small operation, so please allow for a little patience rather than assuming your message was lost.

Trouble signing in

Perceva confirms email addresses with a numeric code, not a clickable link. When you create an account or reset your password, the app shows a screen asking for the code that arrives by email — leave the app on that screen while you check your inbox.

We never ask for your password, and we cannot read it. Nobody writing on behalf of Perceva will ever request it.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, under Settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — history, progress and results cannot be restored afterwards.

The full procedure, including how to request deletion by email if you no longer have the app installed, is on the Delete account page.

Your data and privacy

Perceva does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not share your answers with third parties. Your self-assessment answers and instrument results belong to your account and are visible only to you. What we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it is described in the Privacy Policy.

For requests about your personal data specifically — access, correction, export or deletion — write to contact@perceva.app.

Perceva Premium

Perceva is free to use today. A paid plan, Perceva Premium, is in preparation: it will open the deeper self-knowledge instruments and lift the limits of the free plan. There is no way to subscribe yet, and nothing in the app charges you.

When Premium becomes available, the payment will be handled by the app store you subscribe through — not by us, and we will never see your card details. Changing, pausing or cancelling a subscription, and any refund request, will be done in your store account under subscriptions.

Cancelling will stop future renewals, and access will continue until the end of the period already paid for. Nothing you created will be deleted when a subscription ends — the free plan limits simply apply again.

Reminders are not arriving

Perceva schedules its reminders on your device, not from a server. If they stop appearing, check that notifications are allowed for Perceva in your system settings, and open the app — reminders are re-scheduled each time you do. Battery-saver and "deep sleep" modes on some Android devices can also hold notifications back.

You can turn reminders off entirely under Settings in the app.

Changing the language

Perceva's interface is available in Portuguese (Brazil) and English. You can switch between them under Settings; the change is immediate and does not affect anything you have recorded.

Which devices Perceva runs on

Perceva is an app for Android phones today. An iPhone version is in preparation and does not have a date yet. There is no web or desktop version, and none is planned for now.

Perceva is not a medical or mental-health service

Perceva is a wellness and self-knowledge product. The self-assessment and the psychological instruments are tools for reflection: they are not diagnostic tests, not a clinical assessment, and not treatment. Perceva does not diagnose conditions, does not promise results, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

If you are in distress or need help, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency service. Support requests of a clinical nature are outside what we are able to answer.
